The Trust holds a Gala Concert each year with music by the Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland, (subject to the Band’s  availability) and  from the profits of this, we present a cheque to the soldiers charity with the remaining profits, going towards funding the operation of the Trust.

Included in the picture are, John Cairns Secretary, and Dick Carlile Treasurer alongside  members of the band.   Also in the picture are the Director of Music, and the commandant of Dreghorn Barracks Edinburgh where the presentation took place.

After the presentation, the Trust’s members were  privileged to be invited to watch the band  run through their rehearsal for the Battle of Arras 100 year anniversary ceremony in France, along with the Pipes and Drums of 3 Scots,The Black Watch

The Trust is also pleased to announce that the next Charity Concert will be held in the Beacon Arts Centre, Greenock on Friday March 16th 2018.  Ticket information will be available on the Trust’s and the Beacon Art’s Centre websites in due course
